Beth's Featherweight Spa Day
Join us for Featherweight Spa Day, where you'll learn how to properly maintain your Singer Featherweight sewing machine. This essential maintenance should be performed every six months to a year, depending on how frequently you use your machine.
A Featherweight Spa Day Kit is required for this session. However, if you already own a kit, there's no need to purchase another—you are welcome to attend the meeting at no cost.
NOTE: Registration is required even if you have already purchased the kit. Please contact Beth's if you plan to attend and do not need a kit.
Designed specifically for Singer Featherweight machines, this kit contains all the basic materials needed for cleaning and upkeep, including:
- Sew Retro Grease
- Sew Retro Oil (with applicator tip)
- Double-ended cleaning brush
- Bottle with applicator tip and kerosene (for cleaning)
- Tips and tricks printout
- Oiling chart
- Micro cleaning brushes
- Beth's clear project bag

| Instructor Bio: | In the second grade, Marylin Butorac wrote, "When I grow up, I want to be a music teacher." That dream led to a rewarding 40-year career in high school music, but it was sewing that provided the perfect "all-weather" harmony to her busy professional life. For the past 25 years, Marylin has immersed herself in the mechanics of Bernette machines and the art of piecing. Now, she brings her seasoned teaching perspective to the sewing studio. When she isn't helping students hit the right note in their projects, you can find her competing in dog sports or visiting nursing homes with her therapy dogs. |
