Sewing 101
If you have a sewing machine and it's still sitting in the closet or are hesitant to use it because you are unsure of how to use it... this class is for you! In this course, you become the boss of that frightening machine! With over 40 years of instruction, Jackie McCaughtry teaches you the basics of sewing, parts of a machine, how to use the controls and tips for general maintenance. A fabric stitch reference guide, fabrics and other necessary items (not listed below) will be provided.
MATERIALS NEEDED FOR CLASS:
- Sewing machine
- Owner's manual (if you have trouble locating yours, we would be happy to assist before the class)
- Basic sewing notions (scissors, measuring tape, seam ripper, threads, etc) Start To Sew Kit
- Sewing Feet and attachments
- Dark colored thread
